My #forkinfit GREEN BEAST of a smoothie is packed full of immune system boosting vitamins and minerals, good fats, fibre and energy packed healthy carbohydrates!

(Fit tip: Eat your fruit on an empty stomach or before meals to fully benefit from the nutrients and promote weight loss – as it breaks down a lot quicker than complex carbohydrates and protein!)


Serves 1

  • 1 cup fresh kale
  • 1 cup fresh baby spinach
  • 4 mini trees of broccoli
  • 1 big chunk of avocado
  • 1 4inch piece of cucumber
  • 1 kiwi
  • 1 apple
  • 1 sprig of mint
  • 1 inch piece of root ginger
  • 1 tsp flaxseeds
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 big dollop of quark or 0% fage yoghurt
  • 1 cup-ish water and a few ice cubes!

Just throw the whole lot into a blender, whizz it up and enjoy straight away!
